Laptops are great aren't they? And the thing is, they can be even better with a few well chosen laptop accessories! Like a great recipe, it can be the small additions that make all the difference, and the same goes for our beloved laptops.
There are hundreds of different laptop accessories available for all different uses, whilst we cant cover every laptop accessory on the market, below we cover some of the most popular ones to help you on your way to accessory heaven!
Docking Station - The ultimate laptop accessory?
A docking station is a simple laptop accessory
that sits on your desk at home or in your office and allows you to slot your laptop into it when your working, the beauty of it is all the cables (power, network, mouse etc) plug into the docking station rather than directly into your laptop therefore saving you having to plug and unplug them from your laptop every time you put it on the desk.
As laptop accessories go, its a popular one, and for obvious reasons. In our fast lives who wants to spend time plugging in cables? Not many of use for sure, so get yourself one of the greatest laptop accessories ever invented and and leave all those worries behind!
Laptop Case - The laptop accessory that takes the strain
Carrying your laptop around in your briefcase or holdall may be OK for the occasional trip, but if your a regular traveler carrying your laptop around everyday then a laptop case would be one of the most useful laptop accessories you could buy.
The benefits are obvious, firstly the laptop case is design for your particular laptop, meaning when you slot it in it fits snug into its pouch, nicely protected by the surrounding case to ensure your laptop doesn't suffer any nasty knocks.
Secondly you can keep lots of other laptop accessories in the case too, things like your mouse, your power cable, external USB devices etc will all slot nicely alongside your laptop giving you a nice and tidy way to transport your laptop and accessories around with you whilst on your travels.
Mouse - A laptop accessory to keep you sane
Ok, Ok, we know most people will already have one, and as laptop accessories go this is another obvious one,
but you would be surprised at how many people battle away with their little touch pad getting more and more frustrated as the cursor constantly refuses to hit the intended target and instead opens up yet another unwanted application.
Avoid all the headaches of the touch pad by getting your self a mini-mouse, no its not a Disney character, its a small version of a standard mouse that is ideal for laptop use. Or if you're not bothered by size then just get hold of a standard mouse and blow away all your touch pad nightmares forever!
If you are struggling with the touch pad then a mouse is one of the laptop accessories that will change your life, well maybe not change it, but certainly make it easier!
External Laptop Speakers - Music to your ears
Generally the quality of the speakers within a laptop is pretty poor. The sound is usually tinny and does not at all convey the wonderful sounds on offer from games, music or movies.
Fix all your sound problems with some nice external laptop speakers, they are small enough not to take up too much space on your desk, but powerful enough to give you the full sound experience that your laptop is capable of providing.
Laptop speakers are pretty useful laptop accessories, especially if you use your laptop for games and music etc, and we would whole heartedly recommend getting yourself a set if your laptops sound is getting you down!
